Our upcoming project...
Distorted, biased, imperfect and unsightly. In this collaboration with indie band The Indelicates, we analyse and demonise the history of our "great" nation. Lie back, and think of England...
We're using the album Juniverbrecher by the Indelicates as the starting point for devising.
Three interconnected themes run through this album:

Brexit (English nationalism, the current political climate, flag-flying)

Punch and Judy (English traditions that are honestly a bit creepy)

Jimmy Savile (and the abuse at the very top of British establishments)
In rehearsals, we'll expand on those themes as well as playing with how to stage the album's music in an exciting way.

Collaborative theatre-making
Our method of creation is one where everyone involved has ownership of our art. We're experienced devisors who each bring something unique to the team - company members have previously worked with John Wright, Thirdspace Theatre, Philippe Gaulier, and the Wardrobe Ensemble, to name just a few of our influences.
We'll be devising this new piece of theatre through collaboration, experimentation, and most importantly, play!
